Georges Benyamen and Nahla are the parents of 5 children, an Iraqi refugee family in Syria who is taking care of Georges’ parents as well. The family recently lost one child to cancer but welcomed a triplet in Syria in August 10, 2009. Maryam and Benel were discharged home but Betel was premature and required an NICU for incubator until the present day.

AAS-Syria had referred him to the Assyrian Medical Society to help in covering costs of care. The Medical Relief Project had approved part of the care (so far 22,500 SL), which was already paid to the hospital.
