Khanna is a 71 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria who was recently diagnosed with malignant tumor of the breast for which mastectomy was recommended.

The patient was referred by the AAS-S to the Assyrian Medical Society. The Medical Relief Project of the AMS approved her care and the surgery was performed in Syria at a cost of (20,000 SL).
