Story:

Lilyan is a middle age female from Ankawa, Iraq who has been suffering form chronic glomerulonephritis that led to chronic renal failure on hemodialysis. The patient is found to be a candidate for kidney transplant and is scheduled to undergo the surgery however she is not able to afford Simulect, an anti-rejection medication. Without the medication she will be offered the surgery. The patient and through friends and donors was able to raise some of the needed money and had reached out to the Assyrian Medical Society for help.

The Medical Relief Project of the Assyrian Medical Society had approved a financial support in the order of $2, 000 towards buying the required medicine. We look forwards to the day she will get her kidney transplant.
