Salah is a 43 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria diagnosed with large, grade IV bleeding hemorrhoids for which surgical intervention was indicated after failure of expectant management
.
The patient was referred to the Assyrian Medical Society by the AAS-S. The Medical Relief Project of the AMS has approved his care in Syria at a cost of (10, 000, 00 SL). Hemorrhoidectomy was performed successfully. The patient is currently recovering at home.
