Samira is a 40 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria diagnosed with uterine tumors for which she required surgical intervention to rule out malignancy.
The patient was referred to the Assyrian Medical Society by the AAS-S. The Medical Relief Project of the AMS has approved her care in Syria at a cost of (25, 000, 00 SL). Uterine Mayomectomya was performed successfully. The pathology was benign and the patient is currently recovering at home.
