Suaad is 32 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria who has been complaining of abdominal pain secondary to a large incisional hernia.

The AAS-S referred the patient to the Assyrian Medical Society to help sponsor her corrective surgery. The Medical Relief Project of the AMS has approved her surgery to be conducted in Syria at a cost of (20,000 SL). The surgery was completed and the patient is reported to be in good condition.
