Widad is 51 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria who was diagnosed with multinodular goiter for which total thyroidectomy is recommended.

The patient was referred by AAS-S to the Assyrian Medical Society. The Medical Relief Project had approved her treatment and the surgery was completed in Syria at a cost of (20,000 SL). She is currently recovering from her surgery.
