Younan is a 40 years old Iraqi refugee in Syria diagnosed with right lower ureteric stone causing ureteric colic, for which he was offered non-invasive management.

The patient was referred to the Assyrian Medical Society by the AAS-S. The Medical Relief Project of the AMS has approved his care in Syria at a cost of (10, 000, 00 SL). Ureteric stone extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy was performed successfully. The patient is currently recovering at home.
